Our Team

Jim Barr

Jim Barr is responsible for the sales, marketing, recruiting and training of Fiduciary Funding, LLC. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jim moved to the Pinellas County area with his family in 1970 and has been in the mortage industry in Florida for 30 years. Prior to this, Jim served in the U.S. Navy aboard submarines.

During Jim’s career in the real estate and mortgage industries, he has served as a branch manager, corporate trainer and loan originator. Jim earned his masters in Management from Troy University in Alabama, is a Distinguished Toastmaster {#3176} and is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete.

In addition to his mortgage career, Jim has been an adjunct instructor for St Petersburg College, teaching computer and business courses. He has also taught the Florida Real Estate and Mortgage broker licensure classes.

Jim and his wife Wendy enjoy traveling in their free time. He is involved with Kairos Prison Ministry and serves on the board of their condominium.

Denise Drews

Denise Drews is responsible for the day to day operations of Fiduciary Funding, LLC. She oversees the origination, processing, underwriting and closing of all mortgages originated by Fiduciary Funding, LLC.

Denise has 25 years experience in the mortgage business; the past 15 years have been on the operations side of the business with a strong background in underwriting all types of mortgages. A native of Minnesota, she got her start in the mortgage business in the mid 80’s and worked for 5 years as a senior loan officer for a large mortgage banker in Minneapolis. She then moved to Florida and has worked for the past 20 years in the Pinellas County area.

As well as working in the mortgage business Denise has also been an instructor for the Mortgage Broker licensing course through the State of Florida. In her spare time she and her husband enjoy escaping to the Keys whenever possible.

Kris Hartland

Kristine has more than 20 years of professional experience in the areas of personal finance, investments, insurance, and wealth and financial planning. This includes almost 15 years with American Express Financial Advisors. Prior to this experience, she had 10 years of professional experience as a commercial/investment real estate broker.

Kristine has a passion for helping others effectively align their resources with their mission and maximize the impact of their assets for their family, future generations and the world around them. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband (Bob Hartland) and their three daughters, reading and playing the flute.
